Julia Howard was born in Columbus, Nebraska, USA. Before her first birthday, Julia and her family moved to Kansas where life took off. Always on the move and at a very fast pace, Julia seemed to be interested in and physically into everything. Soon she found an avenue around the slower pace of Kansas.

She studied to be an Emergency Medical Technician Basic and became an exchange
student in Germany while in High School. At college, she found more reasons to
return to Germany for internships and studying. Also during this time she spent
a year studying in Taiwan before graduating from the University of Kansas with a
Bachelor in Fine Arts, Industrial Design.

After graduation she made the big move to Europe, working in positions that acquainted her with German business culture along with design opportunities. In 2010 she graduated with her Master's degree in Creative Direction at the Hochschule Pforzheim University in Germany and currently works and resides in Munich.
